About Me

I am Travis Trapani, I currently smoke, but I smoke less than I used to. On average I probably smoke 2 cigarettes a day. About 3 years ago, that would have been 2 packs a day. I am making another effort to quit. This time I am trying to wean myself off. In 2009 My lung collapsed (Spontaneous Pneumothorax) It was not caused by the smoking, The doctor told me that sort of thing is common with my attributes.

When I was around 6 I was diagnosed with Alpha-1; Antitrypsin DeficiencyAlpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) deficiency is a condition in which the body does not make enough of AAT, a protein that protects the lungs and liver from damage. The condition can lead to COPD and liver disease (cirrhosis).

A little about who I am: I am a Graphic Content Designer, Owner of Trapani Digital Design and Godfather of the New Eden Community. I am extremely Earth oriented and love to do my part in restoring and repairing the damage we as humans have caused on this beautiful Earth.

A fun fact: I am the Admin of a facebook Group for my town called "People of Eagle Mountain" We had a troll with a fake account trolling in the group. The profile picture lead me back here to one of your members (Linda Thomas). The picture the troll in our group used as a facebook profile picture, was of Linda's Selfie picture I found in one of your forums. Needless to say we removed this person and reported them lol

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
