Yes, I have quit. I am unaware of this unsuccessful NRT quit you speak of. I have had many unsuccessful cold turkey attempts though. Wow! Some support person you are.

Hi Teresa, Welcome! I am a fan of the patch. For me, it makes quitting smoking much easier. I quit smoking cold turkey four years ago and while the method worked, it was a very difficult process for me. However, in all fairness, I'm not sure if I would appreciate what the patch does for me had I not previously quit cold turkey. To learn about people's experiences, I would suggest reading reviews for the various brands of patches. It's a good idea to learn as much as you can about nicotine addiction.
