  1. I used to smoke outside my hairdresser with hair dye and tin foil in the black gown. :0'i didn't give a crap. ......I remember going with my grand mother to the hairdresser when I was a girl and all the ladies were getting their weekly wash and comb out while smoking up a storm inside. I couldn't breathe.
  2. I talked to a young lady new at work who is a smoker. I scared her by telling her about bad skin, bad breath, wrinkle mouth, bad smell, being the last of the group to quit, being judged as weak , by nonsmokers. She told me she enjoyed it, about gaining weight, quitting when she's 30, being around friends who smoke, smoking to fill time, to not feel awkward. I brought out cancer, chemo, loss of teeth, loss of lung power, cardio wards, addiction, standing out in the rain, the cold, making small talk with strangers. How there may be still time to repair the damage, at 28 years old with 10 years of smoking rather than at 50 with 35 years, like me. We'll see. Someone talked to me like this at work when I was her age but I did not listen

  19. I smoked for more than 30 years and did the patches. I did not have insomnia. Instead I had very bad dizziness, bleeding gums, indigestion. These went away in about two weeks. Are you having caffeine? When you stop smoking, you need much less caffeine. maybe this is causing the insomnia http://www.sharecare.com/health/smoking-treatment/avoid-caffine-trying-quit-smoking

You know, i used to have a great voice. I sang in choirs and a semi professional group., I even took opera lessons. But as I smoked my voice got worse and worse. So i gave it up for Marlboro. A regret. Tpbm bakes yummy cakes and cookies
  24. Hi! It's normal to feel like crap for a few weeks while you withdrawal. I coped with this by reading alot about quitting, reading and watching videos on whyquit. Com, reading The Easy Way To Quit Smoking by Allen Carr, posting here, walking outside, cleaning, eating candy, sleeping, talking it out with family, etc. just getting through each day . Each day added up. Around day 22 something changed. I still had alot of craves, and alot of things to try again as a nonsmoker, but there was relief too. It was all uphill after that to freedom. Every day in the beginning, actively be quitting. Go to you tube and seach on the easy way to quit smoking. You could spend weeks watching
