Bat I hope you made it through the crisis.... without smoking. Stay busy and do things that make you happy and relaxed. Do you have a hobby something you really enjoy doing?
  4. Someone mentioned three months can be tricky and unfortunately I must agree..... figured hey instead of cigarette I will smoke a cigar ok well that was still stupid. I need to remind myself NO I WILL NOT SMOKE A CIGAR that is no better.... I don't want throat cancer.

Oh my I am so exciting this week I feel like this is one of my best weeks ever. Got a call from my Church, just when I had given up to begin training for becoming a Eucharistic Minister. Sent my letter to Father Bob for Parish approval. This seems meant to be since I finally stopped smoking. It's like God was waiting now I will not need to worry do I smell did I wash me hands. Then my two classes started this week. Art was the something new for this year. I was a little worried after New Year I didn't have something new to add in my life but it all fell into place. I am absolutely jacked after the first night of my art class. what an amazing and talented teacher feeling like I will be able to take my art to the next level. Came home so hyped it was all I could do to settle in for the night. Feeling blessed and peaceful this week. Now Ms. focus and get back to work lunch break is over and there is still allot to do. :-)

interesting very interesting not a pig fan myself although Ms. Piggy is kinda cute..... Don't eat bacon although it's not cause I don't like it..... bacon and my stomach don't get along... but love the smell of it cooking. Why is anything that tastes and smells so good bad for you....... A guy at my job said his doctor told him if you enjoy it and it tastes great it is definitely bad for you.... oh well on to work now

I am feeling so excited today. I have been wanting to be a Eucharistic Minister at my Church forever... Even procured an Annulment this year. I waited and waited patiently and followed up and followed up and nothing. Then when I quit smoking in December I said to myself well that is a good thing nobody wants to receive the Eucharist from someone who stinks. That helped with incentive to not go back to smoking.... Still heard nothing then today as I was sitting at Church for Ashes I kept thinking if I don't hear back maybe it's time to find another way to give back or maybe its time to find a new Parish. I get to work and receive a message that training starts in April WOW it is like a direct message from God. I am so happy this is a perfect way to begin Lent...... :)
  21. NOPE No way

  23. Very helpful post. It does seem non-smokers don't get it. You tell them "you quit" they are like great they figure ok you quit all good now.... If only it worked that way. My boyfriend like my Dad was one of those that smoked or didn't it didn't really bother them growing up Dad might smoke for a year and then not for 10 etc. He hasn't smoked now in so long it is hard to remember he ever did. My boyfriend was the same way went 20 years smoked one then stopped and didn't pick it up again. Oh how wonderful that would be! I don't think they understand what it is like for the rest of us. I mentioned to my boyfriend that some days the urge is so strong and he's "well you quit you don't smoke now". It makes me want to strangle him LOL.
