My power just came back on about an hour ago. There were a lot of trees down but nothing like what you guys saw. I used to live in Greensboro. It seemed like the damage was worse in NC the further west you went.
  4. Glad you are doing so well, Christa! Great job!
  5. That's awesome, Kdad! Congratulations!

It escalated pretty rapidly. It was one MPH below Category 5 at landfall (155 mph) after just forming a few days ago. For the weather geeks, some info on Michael from CNN: Prayers for @Lust4Life and everyone else impacted by this.
  12. NOPE, never again.
  13. Good for you, Lilly! This is a truly great thing you are doing.
  14. Great post, L4L. I hid my smoking from some people and, looking back, I realize I wasn't fooling anyone either. Best of luck during Hurricane Michael. Stay safe.
  15. Congratulations on 9 months smoke free, Shane! Thanks for all the awesomeness that you add here.
  16. Congratulations Rose! Awesome job!
  17. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.

Hoping for the best for the folks in Florida and Georgia, in the direct path of Michael. South Carolina and North Carolina are also in his path as a tropical storm. There wasn't much flooding in my area but areas closely south of here are still dealing with high rivers, flooding damage, etc. The last thing they need is more rain.
  19. Great stuff, T4C! What you are going through sounds normal. It might not feel this way but you are doing great!
  20. NOPE - I don't smoke anymore.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
