  2. Frustrated with this as well . It's a battle fighting chronic illness trying to maintain some form of excersise while battling everything going against you from being able to make even a small amount of headway . This too shall pass ?
  3. I'm sorry you guys , I didn't realize all these posts were here . Thanks for your responses, and really kind words . It's been a rough day . The good news is I am back on my quit . I appreciate the videos as well and will make it a point to watch them all .
  4. How do you delete yourself as a user . I will be back when I decide to quit .
  5. When you let your pride get in the way of smoking instead of posting . You give away a hard earned quit . Don't do it . Post before no matter how long you have quit . There will always be those who judge .... but you only owe yourself to keep the quit . Thank you for the time I spent in this wonderfully supportive community .
  6. This is my 6th year having pulmonary function tests where I have walked in to those tests as a non smoker . I have them yearly due to another illness I have that can cause respiratory problems . I can tell you no matter the results of the tests it's always better walking in and out knowing I don't smoke anymore . Quitting smoking gives us confidence to change other areas in our lives I agree Jet Black . Once we get the "I can do it bug" we finally get it . Everything becomes possible because we learn if set our mind to it , it can be done . Hope you feel better real soon jet black ...enjoy that turkey dinner Sunday and congratulations on that quit . .
  7. Happy thanksgiving everyone .
  8. Quote source from fit day . Did you know ........ "During sleep, a person's weight and the number of hours he/she sleeps determine how many calories are burned. Normally, a person burns about 0.42 calories for every pound in one hour of sleep. For instance, a 150 lb. person burns about 63 calories in one hour. If this person sleeps for eight hours total, he/she burns 504 calories for the whole duration. Just multiply the average rate with every pound of weight and number of hours of sleep. Therefore, the heavier a person is, as well as the longer a person sleeps, the more calories are burned."
