  5. Thank everyone for the congratulations. I never realized this till I sat down to do the NOPE pledge. To all the newbies stay strong and and endure. It i well worth it and there are many folks here to help. Also, I would suggest that smokers take advantage of the low dose ct scan. My pcp wanted me to do this because of all those years I puffed on those nasty things. It is worth it. Thanks to all and to Cbdave my old party days would land me in the ICU the days. I will tilt a couple later though. Best wishes to all and thank you for all you do.
  6. I'm very sorry to hear that you are struggling so much @Sal One thing I will tell you is that smoking NEVER took away anyone's problems. The urge is very strong because you are still smoking. Once you give it up, after a while the urge will go away. I can promise you that! Yes, in the beginning it's difficult but the longer you stay quit, the easier it will become. You need to throw away all of the smoking paraphanalia, the cigars, ash trays, lighters, etc. If you want to pass your breathing test, you must stop smoking!! Since you have COPD and use an inhaler and a nebulizer, don't you constantly cough? We can offer you advice and pep talks, but you are the one who has to do the quitting, we can't do that for you! You can do this @Sal . Come on here every day, not only when you need an SOS, but every single day, read through all the material, watch the videos and do the daily Nope pledge, EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! It will keep you focused. You got this!!
  7. I know what you're going through. ☹️
  8. Hey all. Thanks for the response. Been busy with my Physical therapy for a Meniscus tear. Right knee. Still struggling with the smoking. I have a million reasons to quit and a million reasons why I haven't. Going through a lot right now being one. So, stressed out! Family issues got me down lately. I didn't realize that these Dutch master cigars were so addictive. I still don't have cravings for regular cigarettes, however. Strange? Anyways, have an SOS calling out to you all. I am having a Breathing test on the 24th and want to pass it so bad. I have COPD also and use an inhaler and a nebulizer 4x a day. You think that would deter me from smoking, but the urge is very strong. I feel so weak. ☹️ Any more help is appreciated.
  9. I am not going to smoke today. NOPE.
  10. Enjoy your holiday!🌴🍷
