  9. Gday Yep camels take up that nitch in Aussie. Even though they are lighter than a moose they travel in mobs of a dozen or so, hard to miss them all. The surprising one to hit is the wombat. Low to the ground but weighs up to 40 kg. Like hitting a rock it ruins a cars drive train. You’re most likely to lose control and end up in a ditch or tree or on your roof. In the outback it’s no driving between dusk and dawn unless you a road train with a ruddy big bull bar.

  12. No they don't unfortunately and it's often fatal for anyone in the front seats of the vehicle that hits one. Their legs are so tall the the vehicle hits the legs near where they meet the body of the Moose and less than a second later you have 1,600 lbs of Moose coming through the windscreen. It's extremely unwise to drive at night anywhere where Moose and plentiful. A friend of mine met their fate in one of these moose hits 🙁
