  14. Had my 2nd session yesterday mid-afternoon. Again, no immediate issues. Was sitting on the couch later, about dinner time, and suddenly out of nowhere it hit me! A feeling of complete and utter exhaustion washed over me in seconds. It was like nothing I've ever felt before. Can't even really explain it accurately; not a feeling of being tired and wanting to lay down but simply a feeling like I wanted to melt into a puddle right there on the couch and just not move anything! I eventually forced myself to get up and go to the kitchen for a glass of water then back to the couch. It was not a pleasant feeling at all! Felt OK again this morning, maybe a little slower/weaker than normal but not too bad. Hoping not to see that happen again Monday after my next session? We'll see ...
  15. Thanks for asking. Today is my 12th day with no smoking or vaping! It's getting easier but of course there are still triggers popping up. I just do a little box breathing and they go away. Last night I went to dinner and a play with some friends. It was so awesome to enjoy every moment without thinking about when I could go smoke!!
  16. NOPE! Happy no smoking Saturday!
  17. AMEN BROTHER!! (He says after having a 2nd session of radiation for lung cancer.) Snuff those nasty things out for good before they do the same to YOU!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
