It hit him like a ton of bricks

Are you talking to me or chewing a brick?

He is all talk and no trousers

You could talk the hind legs off a donkey

You could talk under water with a mouth full of marbles.

Have you lost your marbles

Get lost

There is no love lost between them

Think you've lost the plot..!!

We need to make up for lost time

I am lost for words

I'd be lost without you

He who hesitates is lost

You are a lost soul

You look like you've lost a pound and found a penny..

It gets lost in translation

You are a lost cause

Gear not, all is not lost

I got lost in that book

It got lost in the shuffle

Ive lost my voice

He lost money hand over fist

I almost lost it

She lost sight of the goal

Ive lost all hope
