Yeah I live near Dublin, I'm actually from Dublin but living in Kildare,

So jimmy (hubby) took the morning off work and went in, asked to speak to the principal but of course the lazy bitchh won't be back til next monday, the vice principal was there he basically demanded that they send a letter home to all the parents telling them no nuts are allowed etc and he said we will be sending Lucas in next monday and said it's not fair for him to miss the first week, scary enough starting school, never mind being a week behind everyone else so she said she will try get a letter done up today, she had to ring the principal to get permission first then she promised my husband she would ring him straight after to let us know what she said but of course she never rang him, he said he is very concerned that none of the teachers know how to use an epi pen. He's going to cause murder if they don't get back to us and send the letters out.. I was on to Anaphylaxis Ireland and asthma ireland and they both told me they send nurses out to schools for free to train people so he told her he wants them to do that to make sure every teacher knows how to use it. Please god they will get back to us tomorrow and say they sent the letters out.

God, that school makes me furious. What a bunch of fcuking lazy, idiotic people.

Damien started school on the 7th of August. Since then he has already had strep throat and now... pneumonia. I give the f*ck up... I don't send my kids to school f*cking sick, never. They stay home... even though I get letters from the school about their attendance and threats of social service visits. I comply with the classroom rules regarding other children's allergies when it comes to food even though it hurts my own child (long story). Is it too much to f*cking ask that if your damned kid is sick to keep him the f*ck home so that my kid *who is super susceptible to germs* does not get sick.  I don't have the free insurance so taking him to the doctor every week costs me a lot of money never mind the prescriptions, chest xrays, and all of the other crap that comes with this. I am so pissed off right now. Every time he coughs I want to punch a parent. Mother f*ckers. 

Awh DD that's a fcuking nightmare, soo sorry for Damien, some parents are dopey fuckss and send kids in with chicken pox, chest infections, vomitting, diarrhoea etc cos they want the break or don't want to take time off work.

His O2 reading was 95 at the doctors office. He is on oral and inhaled steroids via nebulizer along with antibiotics. I have to watch and bring him back to the doctor in 2 days (or sooner if needed). 

The poor oul pet, isnt it soo upsetting seing them wheezing and coughing and struggling to breath, heart breaking. lucas is the very same, twice a year since he's been born we end up in hospital for a week cos of asthma, he got the chicken pox that ended up going in his lungs, I'm dreading him starting school now and catching everything cos as you said some parents are soo bloody stupid and send kids in when they are really sick.

How is Damien this morning hun, any improvement yet??

He is doing better this morning, thanks. He has been on the nebulizer every four hours whether he needed it or not and the poor kid is confined to the couch because if he gets up and walks around it triggers a coughing fit.

Chicken pox traveling to the lungs is horrible, poor guy. 

I was in the nurses office last year when I witnessed a child getting his temperature taken and it being 103. She asked me to hold on while she contacted the parent. The child told her that he was at the doctor the day before and has strep throat. So the mother knowingly sent him to school. The best part was when the nurse asked him if the mom was at work (so she could call) the child said no she doesn't work, she is home. Can you tell me why you sent your child to school when you were home anyway?!?! The even more awesome part was that he was Damien's classmate and sat next to Damien in class, lol. Guess who had strep throat shortly after. 

Jesus that's disgraceful, that mother needs a kick up the arse.

Glad Damien is a bit better, hope he's back to his old self really soon, poor pet.
