Going on holiday- others going to have vacation???

Featured Replies

From 27th of June til 1 July I go to 'Beekse Bergen' it's kinda an imitated safari-park. My hammie goes to stay at the breeder for that midweek. So my hammie goeson a holiday too :P
I love the idea of having a vacation. There will be arranged an wheelchair if walking 'all day' is required, and I bring my stick for '3 hour walks'.

FYI the safari is in a car :P I won't be eaten, in case a lion gets hungry I'll feed him a smoker; direct punishent for eating humans whahaha

Sounds fun Evelyn...

We are going to the OBX (Outer Banks, North Carolina) the week of June 11th thru June 18th

It I'll be the first time all the girls and their husbands, and the granddaughters and us have all been together for a week in a couple years. We are really looking forward to it.

We will be driving down and it's about a 14 hr drive. We haven't decided for sure yet, but I think I will just drive straight through, starting Friday night and getting there sometime early afternoon on Sat. Driving at night, I will miss a lot of the traffic. However, we will miss a lot of the scenery when we have to drive through the mountains because it will be dark....but, I've seen it before, so I won't be missing much....lol.

We have 2 dogs...a Beagle that adopted me, and my wife has a Bichon. They will be boarded at the kennels, so in a sense, they will also get a break from their normal routine. They have been there many times before, and the place is not a huge operation, so they actually spend time with the dogs all day....

Anyhow...your vacation (holiday) sounds like fun...we have a place like that near us and take the grandkids....gotta be careful though

...the animals will stick their head right inside the car to get the food if you have any.....they are not shy!

Have fun!...

That's sound like fun EV,...getting up close to the animals is really boss..

We have a safari park ...the monkeys love to pull windscreen wipers and number plates off the cars...

I had a little break in Portugal...but have no immediate plans for any more..

Being tonuy,s carer..makes it hard..

In Cyprus at the moment, enjoying the sun while the mosquitos enjoy me.

Will go back to England on Tuesday and then come back here in September for some more golf and sunshine. Our dog stays with a trainer who always has five or six dogs - so he has a cracking time, being 'in a gang'. He comes back with a 'gangsta strut'. :D

No holiday for me for a few years...!

Hope you all enjoy yours!

Take a train from London to Brighton to the beach. My little one loved feeling the sand in her toes.

I'm heading to Minneapolis on Labor Day weekend to attend the State Fair.
