Spent all my cigarette money on quality food and running shoes

Featured Replies

The day I quit, I went out and spent all my cigarette money on high quality foods, enough to last about a month or so. I am also getting ready to run a mile a day at least 4 days a week with my new running shoes.

The only thing I miss is chocolate, junk food, and other sweet stuff. Not because I'm weight conscious, seriously, I'm trying to gain weight. I just can't afford it.

Financial problems are just temporary, I'm working on a second job.

how do your running shoes feel?

how does running feel?

go TAC go!

Good for you!! You sound good and strong in your quit

I would seriously consider sneaking back chocolate into there somewhere as a treat, life without chocolate just isnt right ;)

go for it TAC sounds a great idea and you will feel loads better x

Sell the cat for cookie money

Ease into the running. I'm using Couch to 5K to get up to 3 miles a day. But just starting running, I could barely run 60 seconds at a time, much less a mile. I can walk a mile, though. Right now I just got done running 90 sec at a time. Next week is 3 min at a time twice. Stuff like that. With walking before, after, and in between so it's about 30 mins total.
