First travel date for me is week after Mothers day to Myrtle Beach bike week.....also Sturgis later in August....anyone?   smarti tell chris there is a bike rental place in Pittsburgh now (Eagle Rider) $129 day for over a week. Need 11 days. Expensive- but ride across country with group of 10 bikes and "professional" tour of area as we been there 5 times...You could fly here and then out with girls or straight to Rapid City...here would be better, J will show you town and can stay in her new sewing room...

 

Rez- traveling through Columbus to Sturgis if you want to ride out (chicks flying) our two houses full of 20 yinzers. can help find place close by

That's because you lot are nuts. When you said you were driving to Disney I thought wow, why, don't they do planes out in the sticks? ;)

I rode motorcycle across country twice. Last year was 8000 miles in less than three weeks. See more than out the window of a flying machine.

 

We are a driving country when time permits. Although some fly out of too lazy to drive. Then rent a car when they land. I find lot of pleasure from the drive and look forward to a long one as much as I do the destination.

This just reminded me that I had the strangest dream last night that I had acquired a motorbike. I was really stoked about it and was bombing around town, and then I stopped and looked at the back of the bike behind the seat over the rear tire, and discovered that it had an obscured "hold" similar to a gas tank but with a larger opening. It turned out that the compartment was meant for grain, or rock salt, and was specifically used by motorbiking farmers to ride around seeding their fields. I don't know what it means, but I'm pretty sure I'm not right in the head.
