life long learner and sojourner - have been professional middle managment in a few arenas (credit union, short term residential programs designed for people who are struggling), training facilitator, foster youth advocate and adult supporter,  and educator... prek-12 (4 year olds and 14 year olds are my favorites to learn, work and play with).  Recently relocated to West Virginia from California and am currently,...ummmm,.... curious about what will be next for me.

 

fun - boating, walking in the woods with my three cats (aka box shitters named: Mani - short for Manifestation; Mssr Le Poof - cuz he's a bit sketchy and skittish and  POOF he's gone; and Snowball who is all black.... and I just can't stand image related monikers, so Had to be flagrantly idiotic with his name) and marvelous man, reading tons of fiction, exploring the light side after mastering the dark  of my soul.....and growing and cooking foods fresh from the Earth with little processing.

I like to exagerate when it comes to that topic.

If you have ever seen the movie Office Space?  That is my job.  I sit in a f ucking cubicle all day and mess with data in our computer system = LAME.  I hate it... but it pays the bills.  Just working to pay the bills until the chillens graduate from high school.  Then me and the ol' lady are moving to the mountains somewhere in Virginia.  Hopefully near water as well.  I would like to work in a park... maybe as a Ranger.  Just tired of working for the "man".  Would love to do the "quit job and soulserching" mentioned above...but I have too many mouths depending on me.

 

I enjoy smooth jazz, pina coladas and long walks on the beach.  (not really as I am a man.)

Run... I really wish Alaska was not so cold.. I would love to end up there too.  I have always wanted to go to Alaska ever since I saw the movie "Into The Wild"... for some reason I LOVE that movie.

 

And I don't fly...that is a problem as well.

 

Colorado would be awesome as well... especially with their new acceptance..... just sayin.

It's not so cold in the summer!  :)  You could take the ferry or drive up for a visit if nothing else.   It is mighty fine if nature and rugged beauty is your sort of thing.  Anchorage sits in a bowl between water and mountains so that helps; further inland Alaska it's crazy cold.  No thanks.
