The one year I didn't get the shot I got the flu. I want never make that mistake again.

No and think we are getting the lurgie :( hopefully just a cold not the flu, flu sucks!

Yep, I'm immunocompromised I would rather get the shot than run the risk of getting the flu.

Our flu vaccines cost  $30 per person. Unless that is a real hardship on one's family, I don't understand why one would not rather be safe than sorry. So, yes, we got the vaccine and are happy that we did.

Strictly speaking it was last year, but got one for this winter. Paid about 8 pounds which seems a very small price to pay.

I don't like getting flu shots.  My husband and daughter got one this year when they were grocery shopping one night.  My husband has not been sick, but says he feels like he has this "cold" like every Monday through Friday. lol.     My daughter has had a random stuffy nose and sneezing, but it doesn't progress.  My son had a cold in early December, and right now he didn't look so good when I picked him up from school, and he said he didn't feel good (but he has a math test tomorrow - hmmm and math is not going well right now.)  And my husband says I'm not compassionate. what evs!

I had a pretty bad cold in December. It may have been flu.  I felt like crap and lost my voice, but I refuse to believe I or anyone else is sick, so I plowed through til I was better.  The one day I tried to stay home and be "sick" I was getting a bunch of emails from work needing help & stuff.  I was so mad! I felt like saying. "I'm F-ing sick!"

ok. done rambling. :)
