My arteries & stents were clear & working great so no need for ByPass surgery, My surgeon is going on vacation during the holidays so my surgery will be sometime during the first full wk of january so that gives me 2 wks to relax before it happens since the school goes on break dec. 19, they said because of  me being a janitor I might have to be off 6-8 wks. I don't mine being home when its snowing etc I have plenty of dvds etc.  Sure I wish it was done but this works even better for me. Thanks everyone for asking for updates. Now I'm going to really "harp" on people with heart issues to quit-it does help.

this is good news Beth.. but I understand the having to wait around  for it to be over..  Wendy is right now you have more time to watch the dvds and as you pointed out you won't have to deal with going to work with all the snow.. sounds like it's all coming together just as Our Royal Highness  has "decreed"  for Her Majesty's comfort, satisfaction and convenience  :D

I'm happy for you!

I know at first I thought come on BUT now it gives me time to prepare & just watch my dvds-so its a good thing now, you guys answers have been so funny & great.

Nice one Beth, chuffed for ye,pop the kettle on and move over on the sofa we'll all watch dvds with ye,

Great stuff xx

Beth, I'm delighted that your arteries and stents are in good shape. That's excellent news! And it sounds like you are going to take advantage of this pre-surgery delay to relax and rest. That's very smart of you.

If you like DVDs, I suggest that you sign up for Netflix and/or Amazon streaming videos. They each have a free 1-month trial period so you can view a lot of movies and TV programs for free during your recovery period. Just something for you to consider.
