I am sure many of you know about the new lung cancer screening test. I made an appointment to go next week. While I am not 55 yet, I smoked for many years. It is my understanding that this simple test can find lung cancer while still in the very early stages unlike other tests.

I've had a test (the uk equivalent, probably budget). I've seen this illness in action and it scares me witless. I think it's great your medical profession are taking this risk seriously. xx

I checked and the screening is available at UT Hospital... and it is $199.00...I wonder why such a huge difference in price?

They put me forward as I have a cough that won't shift from quitting, plus some shoulder pain - the two together send cancer flags and I get checked if I sneeze hard now lol. Sorry, that don't help does it. x

I got the results back and there were no issues, thank God. I recommend this test. It was very easy and I paid less than $100,

Be advised: today's results say nothing of an additional test ten years on ... or even next week.
