October 8, 201411 yr Its a wonderful thing that you are here.and what you are achieving....we have all been where you are.. I remember very early in my own quit,I came to the board to get help as I was wavering ... I was told.....wobble Doreen.....but just dont fall over...... I have never forgotton those words ,and it helped me a number of times..... This is why I think it's so imortant to stay close to the board..... It just takes one person to say, just one thing.....to alter the way you are feeling that day..... Well done ,your all doing great.... Hugs xxx
October 8, 201411 yr yep wobbles are allowed, everyone is doing fantastic and should be extremely proud of the gift they are giving themselves, gift of life, nothing beats that xx
October 8, 201411 yr Yep, those early days can be an real slog. We can help a bit...but, keep in mind it is a temporary discomfort ! The benefits from a nicotine FREE life are immeasurable and last a lifetime. Power, confidence, health, wealth...
October 8, 201411 yr I agree with all of you! Newbies, quitting is not as hard as you first think; any withdrawal symptoms you do feel are temporary, and all of the benefits are permanent :)
October 9, 201411 yr The thought of not smoking is way more overwhelming than actually not smoking. It gets easier and easier much faster than you would think.

October 9, 201411 yr Nicely said everyone! I agree 100% with what Apeezy said -- the thought of quitting is much more overwhelming than actually doing so. Just rip the bandaid off and commit. :) Like Doreen said, if you wobble, just don't fall. Come here and post instead. We're here to help!
