Piggy's Big Adventure!

Featured Replies

Hey guys & gals!

Early (way too early) Saturday, Sept. 28th, Mrs Piggy & I are off on our buket-list journey. It's a 51 day cruise to Hawaii & the South Pacific. Will be seeing a number of places we've only seen in pictures & movies. Always wanted to go to that part of the world and see it for ourselves so now, we're making it happen.

Will be gone for almost a couple of months after Friday this week.

We're going into San Diego 1 1/2 days before the cruise leaves to have a look around as we've never been there.

Maybe go to their world famous Zoo? We board the ship in San Diego on Monday Sept. 30th probably around 1:00 PM. The ship sets sail around 5:00 PM that same day.

Here's the itinerary for anyone interested:

The End!

Have a wonderful time!!  After all that, I would need a vacation!! LOL!!  It all sounds amazing!😃 Crossing the Int'l date line will be an experience for sure!  Looking forward to seeing your pics when you return.

Have a great time @Reciprocity, you'll LOVE Hawaii. I've been to both Waikiki and Maui and really enjoyed Maui better because it was less tourists. It's too bad you won't be staying overnight there because they have awesome luaus. The one I went to a lady waded out into the ocean at sunset to feed the fish. It was crazy all the fish that came to her, something I'll never forget. :)

We did do Hawaii quite some time ago and spent a couple of days in Maui and we did a  luau as well. Yes it was amazing! The thing that struck me about Hawaii was how everything was just different from anything I'd ever seen elsewhere. Trees, plants and whatnot were just really different; in a cool way! I think it was on Maui that we drove up to the Dole Pinapple factory. They had a large gift shop with an ice cream palor. Their Pinapple ice cream was to die for 😍 Best ice cream I've ever had; hands down!

I want to do a tour of Pearl Harbour this time as we missed that the other time we were there. That's such an icon of history I just want to be there and see/feel the history it has.

Amazing!  Truly the trip of a lifetime.  I hope every moment is perfect!

Maybe the next trip can be to Australia, unless you have already been there.  Ohh btw, why do they call you Piggy on here? 😆

It's just the Avatar :)
