    Maddie's Birthday is today, but the celebration continues through the week.  We've got family coming to the house tonight for a small party and the big shindig is Saturday at the aquarium.  This is a big event!

     

    Mama Britches and Papa Boo are holding it together, but we're both more emotional than expected.  Looking back over the last two years and seeing our daughter grow and blossom has us both overwhelmed with gratitude.  That little girl has given us the best two years of our lives.

     

    I found this song a few weeks before Maddie was born.  It hit just the right chord then yet seems even more relevant now.

    The Birthday Girl is burning up the road now...well, the driveway and sidewalk at our house.  We got Maddie a balance bike for toddlers.  The little gal took right to it.

     

    Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway...
