    So... Sausage Gully is on the Great Ocean Road.... not for those who don't know the Great Ocean Road is the largest war memorial in the world... it was built by returned servicemen from WW1.... you see the they came back... there was a mini-depression... so the government paid them to build the great ocean road and it is a certified war memorial.... but all along the road there are references to battle fields from WW1... Sausage Gully was a trench in Poziers during the war...
