Awww Ross have just read this post and wanted to send a huge big congratulations to you both on your fantastic news, enjoy each moment of the pregnancy, and please please keep us updated, over the moon for you both. So sorry to read about poor wee kitty, as you may or may not be aware I lost my wee Katie 4 weeks ago after nearly 16 years, she took a thrombosis and we had to make the heart wrenching decision to let her cross over Rainbow Bridge, we tried everything we could for 5 weeks prior to this but the out of hours vet sadly told us us we could do no more. My heart goes out to you both and sending hugs. xxxx

  14. Back Needed to hear all those words above again I thank you all, only I and I can do this and I have to want to, the addiction takes hold so very easily, but listening to a young husband talking about how his wife passed in his arms and watching his tears fall made me realise I do not want this to be me, this could so easily be me, only I have the power to stop this from happening. NTAP and NOPE is the way forward, one step in front of the other and yes Bakon the windows tasted dirty..............
  15. I never knew that the road to quitting could be so long and difficult, but my determination to keep walking it and reach my destination is strong, same road, hopefully no more junctions, eyes ahead. I deal with bereavements at my place of work and on Monday I had to register the passing of a young lady.........49 she was...............Lung cancer, my age...........she died in her husbands arms, my quit began there and then........................this time I really do not want to look back
  16. Its been a tough long hard few weeks, been in a very dark place while the meds were being changed, and I lost my quit, over the last two weeks I have tried and failed to re-start and find that I am unable to get passed the 48 hour mark, I have chosen a new name symbolising the goddess of courage and strength and my picture is now one of a tiger albeit pink. I have purchased cigarettes again today and I am back to fearing quitting. I just don't know where to go from here. How the hell can I go forward from this. I will be going back to work on Thursday after 5 weeks off...................
