  1. Jo, for your sanity, you need to get a new job, I can't imagine this kind of back and forth to work is good for your health.
  2. Still nursing my sore back. The pain meds they gave me, knock me out. Trying to pamper myself because we leave Friday to go camping. Can't get into an orthopedic doctor until I get back. Dr. at the emergency room just thought I sprained my back. You can be sure I will milk it as long as I can because hubby is giving me nightly back rubs!
  3. You are extremely artistic. I hope she appreciates her mom. You spend such special time with her. Maybe you should change careers Jo. You would make a great makeup artist.
  4. Would love to see them.
  5. He is absolutely adorable. Love the red hair. You are so blessed. You know Joe, I just live around the corner. You could share some of that baby love.
  6. I think she is super woman. She works, cooks, cleans and does all these wonderful things with her daughter, and looks after all of us. Thank you.
  7. I am glad you made that clear about what kind of inbetweeny I am. I found this Nope for Reci!😁
  8. Oh my goodness. Who does the wonderful artwork. She does look amazing. I hope there is a prize for costume.
  9. Nope for me too!
  10. I think I am still a newbie. I am 8 mos smoke free. I am amazed that I don't much think of smoking anymore. It takes me getting really angry when I think about sabotaging myself and going back there. I realize they are just self-destructive thoughts and childish! I love being smoke free and am so grateful for all my new friends who helped me get to this point.
  11. Ankush, you are doing great. I think the pledge is a great tool to solidify your quit. You will eventually be able to redirect those thoughts. KTQ!
  12. Dizzy, sounds like you are moving along great. Snarky is a nice way to describe it. I was just a plain old witch with a "b". This too shall pass. I am so glad you were able to post today and tell us how you are doing. Try posting, even if you are down. I found it so helpful to stay close to the forum. They were always able to build me up and make me smile. 4 weeks is awesome. It just keeps getting better.

There is a big empty space without you here. You are really missed.
  14. We all need to learn to say "No". My husband is always running around looking for tools our son has borrowed. I have decided we need a sign out sheet, with a due date back and a fine if late!
  15. Nope not today!
  16. Insurance is such a racket anymore. We had someone hit us and was at fault. Our insurance company said we had to pay the deductible to get the car fixed and then they would go after the woman's insurance company. The woman was fighting it. It does not seem like the insurance companies represent you.
  17. Okay. I am out and nothing life threatening. Just a sprained back. Strict orders for nightly rubdowns from hubby, take it easy, good dose of antiinflammatories and pain meds. Have to wait on reci's elixir. Thanks for seeing me through the longest ER visit in history. You guys can always make me smile.
  18. Still waiting in emergency room. Could use one now. Smoking was my only vice. I really need to start a new one!
  19. I was thinking the same Jillar. I am so proud of my quit. They couldn't even put us is a room with a working tv! They did finally give me a darvoset, so I should be in s happy place soon . It does not take much to knock me out.
  20. My hubby took off work to take me to emergency room. I am sitting here aggitated that it is taking so long. They stick you in a cold room and forget about you. Just get me the pain pills! Of course they have filled me in on all the bad things that it could be because I was a smoker! Tough having to face that reality. Hoping it is something simple.
  21. WTFFFFFF. All I did was bend over and get in bed last night and something happened to my back. I can not lay comfortably, stand straight, or walk. The pain at the middle of my back makes me sick to my stomach. What gives. I am worthless right now. My husband stayed home to take me to emergency room. Will keep you posted. All I can say is this sucks. I have too much to do and we were due to leave for vacation next week!
