Cooking lesson. One day a little girl was watching her mother make a roast beef. She cut off the ends, wrapped it in string, seasoned it and set it in the roasting pan. The little girl asked her mother why she cut the ends of the roast off. The mother replied, after some thought, that it was the way that her mother had done it. That night the little girls grandma came to dinner and so she went to her and asked why she had cut the ends of the roast off before cooking. After some thought, the grandma replied that that was the way her mother had done it. The little girls great grandmother was quite old and in a nursing home. So the little girl went with her mother and grandma to see her and again asked the question. The great grandmother looked at them a bit annoyed and said: So it would fit in the pan, of course.

AVOCADOS A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk and if they have avocados, get 6. A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk. The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk" He replied, "They had avocados." If you're a woman, I'm sure you're going back to read it again! Men will get it the first time.

Gday Its beeen a coupla weeks now so time to get pay for your pain! Time for you to smell the roses …. and just about everything smells so much more more intence. A whole new world will open up to you, a world you’d forgot existed. ( yes you can still smell a cig at 27 paces and at first it smells pretty good till you realise it’s gone though someone else’s lung … then it’s not quite appealing ! ) Next thing is check out your fingers. No, not just they don’t smell like nicotine.they are nice and warm and pink. Feet and toes the same. Plenty of blood flow now! For me it was no more “ get those cold feet on your side of the bed and don’t get those cold hands anywhere near me” You forget the importance of those little things …..
