  1. Hi there all, I am new to this forum and excited to be here. My name is Jackie and I am 28 yrs old., on my 5th or 6th time of quitting, a few months here and there. I was a pack a day for the last ten years, and have found it quite easy this time, thus far. I use the patch to help and seems to work really well for me. I am really really hoping this is the time for me. I'd like to be as healthy as I can be for any future children I will hopefully have in the near future. This has been my biggest motivation. I really look forward to participating on this forum and reading your stories. I think it will certainly help in my journey to stay quit, the more support, the better. My biggest struggle is in the morning and feel like sometimes I have nothing to look forward to. However, once I get up, and get my patch on, I feel a lot more hopeful. I hope that with your support and having a place to read through others ideas and posts, it will help me to start feeling more optimistic. I think my worst fear is that I will fail again but need help to remember that I am in control of that! Best of luck to you all, J

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
