Help!!! I´m having huge cravings for a cigarette, right now I feel like I´m losing control and I can´t even remember why I quit. I mean I remember but it doesn´t make any sense right now because all I can think of is the "pleasure" out of the cigarette. -Nat
  2. I´m doing exactly that! -Nat
  3. I didn´t smoke. Yes, this is my year! This group is awesome.
  4. Hi guys! I survived! Actually it wasn´t that terrible, I think I feel worse today but well...I´ll survive that too. Thanks to all of you for being so caring and supporting, -Nat
  5. Thanks. I´m here. Any advice?
  6. I do have time. Are there any videos in particular that you suggest?
  7. I´m on the third day of my quit and feeling quite sick and disorientated but today is New Year´s Eve and my husband and I are giving a party. Right now I´m totally panicking over surviving to this party without smoking. I used to smoke so much (about 50 a day) that it´s being really hard to function without smoking and also social gatherings make me anxious and you know...I used to think cigarettes helped me relax and cope with situations like this. I know this idea is false but a little part of me doesn´t believe it and wants really badly to smoke. Help please. -Nat
  8. Congratuations DD! :) 2 years are an awesome milestone! You make a priceless job here, the train would never be the same without you. Hugs -Nat
  9. Happy New Year´s Eve! NOPE!
  10. This is very moving...thank you for sharing -Nat
  11. Hi guys! I wanted to write an introduction for those of you who don´t know me. My name is Natalie, I´m 28 and I made an attempt to quit before but I fell off the train after a very stressful time in my life. I went back to smoking 50 cigarettes a day or more. It´s disgusting, I know. This time I´m back for good. My sister (who wasn´t such a heavy smoker as me) told me she had quit by reading Allen Carr´s book Easy way to stop smoking. I thought I´d give it a try and here I am. I read the book in two days and couldn´t wait to quit and finally be free. I missed you guys a lot but I was embarassed to come here as a smoker. I´m very glad to be back! -Natalie
  12. Hey guys! I´m back! I missed you! I just finished reading Allen Carr´s book (suggested by my sister). Should I quit tomorrow and get it over with? or should I wait until the new year? Love, Natalie
  13. Thanks to all of you guys who have been checking on me. That you think about me means the world to me. As you know I´m living now the sequels of a very traumatic experience. Some of you know the details and some don´t. As one of you recommended I´m seeing a therapist. She told me not to be so hard on myself and focusing on feeling better before focusing on quitting. For some of you that might sound like an excuse but it makes sense for me. I´m bery proud of all of you. Love, -Nat
  14. LOL I´m doing that. Is there such thing as too many tic tacs?
  15. I´m really struggling here, specially with the cigarettes after meals. Any tips? -Nat
  16. I decided to quit before New Year´s because it´s easy to keep postponing it. Today is my quit day and maybe I´ll feel crappy (hope not) at the New Year´s party, but I don´t want to start 2015 as a smoker.
  17. Definitely. I´m never going to put myself through this torture again!
