Gday Sorry to find you in a bad space. I’ve had a few widow maker experiences that had me unable to work. It was hard to take. A friend offered me a position 3 days a fortnight. Not much money but we got by. Taught me to slow down. Got to see what I actually had. Didn’t like it at the time as it was forced on me. But a lot of life doesn’t get planned it happens. Never did go back full time. Did get another management position …. Again out of the blue. No plans. Did it part time. Trained my replacement. So I got to do the important thing and that was to look after my sweetheart. We didn’t get to do “the big lap” caravan around Australia. We didn’t get a house in the bush like we planned. We got each other. And that was more important than I realised. Life’s a box of chocolates…… you never know….
