  8. It's nice to see and read your words again Sally. You have turned your quit into your own piece of art. It has some twists and turns with wild changes of colors but it is now a thing of beauty. It was a long time coming but now it is a testament to the artist in you. Congratulations on thirteen!
  9. Gday Big Congratulations! Enjoy the start of those teenage years ….

  13. Hello my darling Nicotine free creatures, Time for another party, she says with glee. Thirteen years FREE from the slavery of nicotine addiction. Hard to believe when the first 13 minutes passed and strengthened my resolve. I was winning each nano second. Then the weeks and days culminating in the first 13 months nicotine Free. A huge accomplishment through the seasons, the inevitable triggers. The triggers from bloody nowhere for no good reason. (like addiction has any reason to it at all). Training my brain to look at something of beauty instead of the urge to smoke. Busting up the pattern, foiling the addiction. Each day, NOPE became my mantra. A resoluteness evolved. I was never going back and vigilance became essential. Addiction remains, only lurks until ignited again. I understand this through and through and keep my guard fully armed and doggedly aware. This takes little effort now, at thirteen years. I NEVER think about smoking, only a regret I didn't free myself sooner. The quit taught me how to change, how easily habits form how easily one can create habits that serve, that help, that heal yourself. The self-destruction is over. There are always new delights to find. New Joys to surround yourself with. We are free to choose and must choose well for ourselves. I hope new quitters will garner their strength and push through the physical urges and then the mental anguishes of a quit. AND friggin' keep your quit! Protect your quit at every turn! You are Always an ADDICT never an amateur in this world of nicotine. All you can do is abstain. Forever. NOPE. Life on the other side will show you a powerful You. A person who knows how to change and protect themselves from harm. We all deserve that love for ourselves. Not One Puff Ever, Sazerac Art
