  7. Hi JJ Welcome back to the train! I jumped on again 17 days ago. Felt the same embarrassment too, stopped for a few years and restarted for god knows what “good” reason. Anyway, here to stay now and happy to share this carriage and quit journey with you! We will do this 👊🏼

  9. It isn't so much that you are treating QTrain like hop-on, hop-off service, it is YOUR LIFE. If you continue to smoke the hop-on may no longer be an option! Please consider the gravity of your choices. Your quit must be the primary focus, the haps in your life secondary. Nicotine addiction only adds to "depression and stress, etc.". I hope you are continuing to educate yourself about the addiction and find comfort in all of us around here, past and future, who have created a successful quit. This is completely in Your power and you will find your way when you fully commit to Not One Puff Ever. I know damn well it isn't the easiest task; addiction is a bitch, but You can succeed as we have, one day at a time. Sometimes one nano second at a time. You will be amazed at the residual benefits that come with quitting. A pride in yourself, a deep trust in yourself, a kindness towards yourself. You deserve all of this and more. Glad you are here. Do not give up on yourself. S
  10. Hello everyone! I'm back, and hopefully, I'll stay on the train this time. I had a freaky accident in early spring, among other issues, and I'm embarrassed to admit that I let the many excuses (depression, stress, etc.) overpower rational thinking, which led me to relapse. Anyway, fast-forward to three weeks ago things had somewhat settled down after the corrective surgery, and I decided it was time to climb back aboard the Quit Train. I'm now 19 days smoke-free, so I'm dropping in to say hello! Here's hoping I can stay on board this time. I really need to stop treating the Quit Train like a hop-on, hop-off service! 😂🚂” JJ

  18. Welcome back! Sucks to restart but I’m glad you did! I had several failed attempts. Make this one stick. Quitting is hard. Relapsing is easy. Quitting again is even more hard. Relapsing so easy. And so on and so on. Break the cycle. Stay quit. It is easier.

  20. I miss her. I often wonder if that’s part of why I’m not as active here as before. We never connected offline = outside of QSMB or QT. But we quit the same year. Heck I named the familiar pack of JACs! JAC = Jillar’s Air Cigarette. 🤣
  21. @Sazerac I miss you around here!!! Although - I’m not as present as I was moons ago. Good to “hear“ from you!
