It's still a bit early.  Cold, wet, & windy makes the experience that much more elemental.

Mt. St. Helens at the rim of Windy Ridge just South of Spirit Lake.

BTW, it's easier to climb the 400+ steps if you don't smoke...just saying.

Never climbed it, but I was in Spokane when it blew...couldn't see my hand in front of my face outside at noon!

Cool deal.  Nothing gets the legs burning like a few thousand feet of elevation change.

Ride motorcycles to the observatory two years ago. Great country out there.

Update:  Windy Ridge is still closed due to massive snows.

Maybe in another month.

Still, it was fun playing in the snow.   ;)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
