April 10, 20179 yr A bit of a rough weekend with lots of triggers. I kept my resolve by reminding myself that smokers don't look cute. Smokers have bags under their eyes and deep creases around their mouths. I am shallow enough that health scares don't really penetrate. But god-forbid I look bad!! Whatever, still quit.
April 10, 20179 yr Its odd I find Saturdays are hard and it makes no sense! I workout like crazy in the morning, Then run errands or clean all day. I try to exhaust myself and yet it still lingers that crazy urge.... I just don't get it. I don't give in but Sat are hard. Now that tax season is coming to an end and my boyfriend will be around that should make a difference.
April 10, 20179 yr Good Job Ex! I too had a pretty awful weekend and stayed with the quit. Nothing is more important than that to me! Keep at it my friend! :)
April 10, 20179 yr Not a thing wrong with that reasoning! :) I'll admit it, the thought of my face ending up like some mummified museum exhibit keeps me on the train too. NOPE. Stay strong Ex. It's worth it. I find Sunday nights the hardest. It's the quietest part of my week, a time to just relax and be. Only thing is, I get restless because I relax by doing, not being. Just grit my teeth and get through, because it gets better after that and it's not worth it to go back.
April 11, 20179 yr whatever floats your boat and gives you a reason to quit, is good enough no matter what it is, health, vanity, money or all of the above
