March 9, 20179 yr So, today is the big day for me: my one-year quit anniversary. While I'm enjoying the celebration, I do want to take a moment and say thank you to the members of this forum. I lurked around for a bit before I quit. This is where I first heard of Allen Carr. I watched all of the Joel Spitzer videos. And I read through many of the threads where the members contributed excellent information. My head was a mess at times during those early days, but the information I picked up here changed my thinking. I tried to resist at times, but as I came back time and again those inevitable truths kept presenting themselves. I ceased the resistance and freedom was the natural byproduct. There is no way to know for sure if I would have a yearlong quit under my belt had I not boarded the Train. I can say for certain that there would have been a greater learning curve if not for this forum. And there is no way quitting would have been nearly as much fun had I not found this place. The Quit Train...Good people making a difference in people's lives and having some fun times in the process. Roll on!
March 9, 20179 yr Congrats Boo! I agree the train is a nice place to relax and learn a truth or two. Quit smoking is fun with the train.
