Got rid of my Facebook account. Total B.S. far as I'm concerned. People only posting stuff to make you think their life is perfect - never the misery or low points they reach, those points we all reach at times. It's a total sh*t show as far as I'm concerned. And don't even get me going on the baby photos ...... Gawd, spare me pleeeeze......

Now a place like this - that's a different story. A place where people can tell complete strangers about their struggles - about their hopes and dreams to achieve something better for themselves and be supported by those people; that's something special :) And it's because we all have one thing in common. We're all nicotine

addicts and we actually care enough for ourselves to try and beat the addiction! We want to be free of this burden yet we are eager to celebrate the same accomplishment of others. It's the best ever social media application as far as I'm concerned :D

...got bored.  :P

What happened to the stalkers?

If I had anyone stalked my Facebook page, they would would get bored and leave too. :p

I mainly have it to keep in touch with my girls, who live anywhere from 1 1/2 ....to..2 1/2 hrs away.

So....not much to see from me....

Well I hope they got bored as they didn't find my facebook anymore as for the threats I'm no longer scared

And no longer add people who are strangers.

I agree R ..this is a special place...

It's because we care..every new person who boards the train..we want to succeed..I think anyone who finds us..are the chosen ones...

This is a safe place..were you will never be judged..

Unless you don't hand that dam trophy over..x

I quite like my FB simply because it keeps me in visual touch with my family, and friends, back up North. Mine is just used as countdown queen base, for the next holiday all paid for courtesy of not smoking. Oh and I might share the odd fab recipes I find.

I find the post this, say Amen, luck is coming your ones a huge pain in the backside. And please, I don't want to see videos of youths beating on others (while being filmed) show the police quick smart, not me as there's not a thing I can do.

Hey, please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying Facebook has no value. I get that it's a great way to keep in touch with distant family and old friends. For me it got really annoying though with all the crap that was getting posted up. The annoyance factor outweighed the benefit for me so ..................... out it went

I was a little afraid this site might be similar but was very pleasantly surprised to find it not only pleasant but also unexpectedly helpful to my effort to get off the smokes. So that was really my point - this place is the GREATEST

And D - that trophy's ours now  :P

I'm sorta the same R...

I have only been on face book 1 year..and still havnt decided whether I want to stay or not...

I think it has its good points...but at the same time bad...

We WILL have that trophy... When your not looking !!!!

Yes - there does seem to be renewed energy from the "chicks" contingent. That's a little concerning  :P

Facebook has its place its a quick way for my family to share photo's etc. I still prefer old fashion socializing with actual people
