April 2, 201412 yr The non-smoker needs to decide whether he should listen to his head or his heart. The smoker/ex-smoker needs to decide whether he should listen to his head his heart, or the junkie. This can make things very difficult if you allow the junkie to put his two cents in. Make your decision easier. Recognize the junkie and shut him up.
April 2, 201412 yr Good post Trish. I agree completely. Once you learn how to control the junkie (or at least learn how to recognise it) you stand a far greater chance at remaining a non-smoker.
April 2, 201412 yr That's right Trish. You are always in the drivers seat. You choose to BE a non-smoker and you make choices AS a non-smoker. :)
April 2, 201412 yr Sometimes it's hard to tell the who is talking and who isn't. The lies have been truth for so long that they have become real. It takes time I guess. And alot of listening.
April 2, 201412 yr Trish - You are definitely getting there. If in doubt - you can always ask here ;) Is your inner junkie a man?
April 2, 201412 yr Mines a donkey and he sounds like this......HEEEEE HAW !!! Unless I'm choking him and then he says.....eh eh eh eh
