It is so weird to read and think about how disgusting it is now in hindsight. I know that I used to do the same thing. :/

When I look back on my 52 year smoking career ...I've probaly done that and worse....

I looked in ash trays for stale stumps...old stumps in coats ...

Of course now I find that un thinkable...

But back then... the addict me...would have done anything for a fix...

I'm so happy I don't have to do stuff like that anymore...

I'm more than sure I have dropped one and picked it up and smoked the rest of it as if nothing had happened.  How disgusting!

BTDT...Got that T-shirt....Thanks for the reminder Wendy :)

When I used to play golf with my buddies, I would put my cigarette on the floor while I took my swing, then pick it up and finish the disgusting thing off... Used to have at least one smoke per hole... Wowsers, that's a lot of smokes, and a lot of germs from the grass/sand/path wherever I put it down :(

There is no question - I did that several times.

So weird!  But when you think about it, everything about about smoking really is pretty gross.
