I know nothing about football, but good luck person/team/whoever we're rooting for!

It's not going terribly well.

I think the Liverpool fans are winning the singing. In every other department they are being outplayed.

Time for a famous comeback as per Olympiakos....

To say I'm disappointed....would be a understatement......

We had a man sent off....totally out of order....so we were down to 10 men...

We needed two goals to stay in the running..we got one....and what a goal...

Gerard pulled a blinder...a terrific goal.....

We didnt play well.....

Let's hope the do some really good sport then go wife beat and have sex with a prostitute

I'd like to blame the outrageous red card (that Basel player is an outright cheat), but I can't seeing as we played better with 10 men... I suppose that we weren't really knocked out on last nights performance alone, but how we played throughout the while competition... And some of BR's decision making was abysmal. Playing the last 20 minutes with your CB as your CF while a £25m Adam Lallana is sitting on the bench means that something has gone horribly, terribly wrong somewhere...
