Aah, poor dog. I see stiches?

Gday

had to be done. She had little skin tags, growths that kept getting cut when she was clipped. One got infected, so all were removed.
She’s a happy girl again!

Now for the game of hide the antibiotic…..

Glad she's doing well, her curls will grow back soon enough! 😁 Good luck with the antibiotics though, dogs are way too clever to be fooled!

Glad she's happy again. I have always had dogs that would do almost anything for food. So, no problems with giving medication. I have had succes with liver pate and cheese.

Gday

Well You all know Ebony.

No other way to put it. At 4:00 Am this Sunday morning I had to take her to the emergency vet. Without details trust me we had take her in.

A day of tests and plenty of calls….

Finally gets her spleen removed this afternoon.

yep the C word.

Test results in 3 to 5 days.

The bloody house is quiet. To quiet.

I'm so sorry @Cbdave, so stressful having to take her in as an emergency.. 😟 Sending positive vibes the results will be ok and that Ebony has a full recovery. :100_pray:

I keep my fingers crossed for a good outcome and speedy recovery of Ebony.🤞

Sorry to hear @Cbdave 😧

Pets occupy such a large part of our hearts, it's very upsetting when they're not well. Best wishes for the best outcome possible 🙏

Gday

Well after all excitement she”ll be discharged this arvo. Can’t happen to quickly, too quite around here.

She’s had her spleen removed and the cancer of course. If we hadn’t had the OP her life would be measured in days or a few weeks at most.

Test results back in a week. If it proves aggressive we’ll have her for 3 to 6 months.
But there’s a good chance it could be benign, then it’s years.

So it’s just a waiting game.
Ebony of course has no idea she has cancer and will just be happy to be home. She’s not in pain that dog is full of pain meds and she’s off her chops last I seen her.

OMG!! She was such a cutie! May she RIP!!❤️❤️ A real sweet little pupply!!!

Hi QG, Not sure were things went wrong in translation but Bing survived his dental cleaning. He will turn 12 in two days.

Glad Ebony is being discharged and can be at home @Cbdave. She's probably on a high from the pain meds and wondering what all the fuss is about. 🥰

Gday

Sorry not much to say.

She home, has a medicated patch on one leg. So she’s out of pain and sleeps lots.
Buts she is Home.
Off tomorrow to get the patch removed.
Will the results be back. It’s a case of waiting.

She is home. She is happy. That’s a start.

Gday

Results are back…..  Benign.

Something  about an hematoma from some old injury. Don’t remember much more. Tell you the truth much of it was only white noise and my only question was that I’d heard benign correctly.

She is still very quiet even after they removed the pain patch. Which is expected, she has to heal. And we have keep her quite for the next couple of weeks.

But we have our little furry buddy back. Talk about relief.

Fantastic news @Cbdave what a relief indeed! 😊  Ebony is a little warrior! 💪 Thanks for the update. 😊
