Lock Down/Quit Smoking

We are in particularly stressful times.

Smoking/vaping exacerbates stress levels.

When you quit, your stress levels will abate.

A smoker's body under stress becomes acidic and dumps nicotine putting you into withdrawal.

This is why I used to smoke furiously when under stress, I couldn't diminish the stress of the withdrawal.

Quitting stops all that.  Sure, you still have stress but, not stress compounded with withdrawal

and the skills you learn in quitting will help you deal with normal stress.

Deep breathing, meditation, exercise...

Here is a video and resources,  Smoking Does Not Help You Overcome Stress

Take care of yourselves.

Protect your quits

and if you smoke, quit !  We will support you.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
