a good friend of mine just got a stroke,  his left side is paralyzed,  they think it's a result of smoking he was a 3 pack a day smoker. Now he's quit smoking .

Talk about a wake up call, that opened my eyes .  now he's messed up for the rest of his life rest of his life I spoke with him and he doesn't sound too good .

apparently it is going to take him about a year to get semi-normal.

I was in complete denial over all health issues, thinking that I was bulletproof.

Once I quit smoking, I was able to address the danger I put myself in and make roads to better health all around.

This is why the Truth is so important to me now.  Raw and unvarnished, Truth is not a judgement call just a collection of facts that deserve complete attention.

When we think quitting is tough, the alternatives can be devastatingly gruesome.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
