I suggest a minimum number of posts have had to be made by anyone wanting access to Off the Record. Lurkers may be legit and all , but spies exist. Ask for help in this sub forum if you need to, MQ something like "Help me vet 'tom the peeper' since he only has a dozen posts and joined X time ago. A lot can be learned from IP history and usage.

Y'know, I'm gonna use this one to springboard from... No you're not losing it for being something other than horrified to see me on here. There are probably a number of things that you wouldn't much care for that I like and vice versa, but that's the nature of people and relationships. Two people sitting in a room that perfectly agree with each other is about the most boring thing imaginable. All too often I waded in where a glitter people were glittering with their glitter and they reacted to my non glitterness with handfulls of glitter in their eyes ears and nose to protect Glitterdom, lol. I'm glad you're here. Really. Anyone of you may be the only one in chat when my smoke alarm goes off. I'm sad for you about your loss. I'm here for your (and mine, too) quit. Yes Aine is perhaps a nicer person than I am, heh heh And if I offend anyone just call me out in the Thunderdome. The relief I feel for not having an admin hovering over the ban button is indescribable.

I got tired of picken their cotton. They got high hopes of making it big on our hard work, on our sweat and trauma of each individual quit. Ultimately the narrow band of acceptable behavior weeded out all but those who would toe the lines. Self reinforcing feedback systems constrain any machine further the longer they run, and ultimately lead to collapse. I got the boot over there for a week and am thrilled that this place opened up. Well, maybe hopeful at least. This "private" subforum is good for keeping oddball chatter off the rest of the board that should stay devoted to the quit. I'm calling it the Thunderdome in hopes that personal grievances can be aired here between members one on one for RESOLUTION, keeping the spectators in the stands. Now and then a tag team is sorta entertaining, too. If this subforum can't handle heavy conflict maybe a true T-Dome subforum could be made. Bottom line is I like the new digs.

Still coughing up a green chunk every couple of days after 2 months. Can't seem to get more breath than I burn in a 1/4 mile jog, heh heh. This may sound weird but my lungs taste like dirt - that's the best way to put it. Dunno, anybody else have weirdness like that?
