8 We leave for Florida on Sunday...(the OBX in June!) I though Florida was referred to as the Sunshine State...if it is, how come the week I plan to go is going to end up being the coldest week in South Florida this year? :( Oh well....it's still a vacation and I will be watching the ocean out my window if it's too cold to lay on the beach. :p :)

  6. I love Reading King Pretty much the only person I enjoy reading. I haven't kept up with his books the last 8-10 years like I used to. The Dark Tower series was great, except it took him forever to release each new book in the series...I would have to re-read the previous one when the new one came out to refresh my memory what was going on. For some reason I don't find the time to read like I used to. (It helps that I used to live right across from the local library (remember those? :p ) I guess it was a different when ;)9

  9. Nothing here again...warm temps nearing 50*F and rain...completely out of character for this time of year here. In contrast, we leave for Florida in a couple days, and the forecast for Monday 8th is the highs in the 60's and the low to be in the lower 50's!... I coulda saved myself some money this year and stayed home.....:p Good luck to all of you getting hit by these snow storms though....stay safe!

  17. welcome back I.D. Im not sure I read why you left in the first place, and I doubt its any of my business :o , but glad you are back and whatever sidetracked you is behind you. Sometimes ending relationships is a new beginning...for the better...for example, you are about to end a long relationship with smoking, and there is nothing but good things to come from it...Hard times are not a reason to smoke...those times will happen regardless of your addiction to nicotine, so lets say you give handling the good AND bad things that life has to throw at you as a non smoker... one day at a time....you can do this! :D

  20. That choice is yours... Quitting is a very mental thing. Do whatever YOU believe is the best approach so that your chances of success are greater. Me personally, I started out on Chantix......for 1 day.... Then thought to myself,"why drag it out.....quit today" ..that was 2+ years ago....I quit cold turkey and haven't looked back. By cutting back or putting off the quit date, I figured I would be in a constant state of withdrawal, so I opted to bite the bullet and get it over with......how-ever, that was what I thought was best for me...others here have had success with the cutting back, setting the quit date method to. No way is right or wrong...staying quit is the goal.... All I can advise is to do what you think will give you the best chance to succeed. You will hear many times, that all quits are different, and they are....but I believe the common link, here, is the support. Whatever you chose, there will be support for you here to help you through the rough patches. BTW... I missed your into, and would like to officially welcome you to the QT!..glad to have someone new riding the rails with us! :p
