  1. Nice Job - 10 Days is great! It's the worst of it is pretty much in the bag. Just gotta keep fighting those random urges. Keep busy and yes, the gym sounds good. I bet you are starting to realize some of the benefits of stopping too by now :D
  2. Told you .... see he's out trying to buy more now :o

  6. Welcome to this "Quitter's Club" :) Nice bunch of people here to be sure. We have a lot of fun, sometimes at each others expense but that doesn't seem to bother anyone. We are all pretty serious about one thing and that's quitting smoking for good ;) You already got me beat by a mile, that's for sure. I too hope you make this one your permanent quit. I know I certainly don't ever want to do that first week or two again and that is keeping me on the straight & narrow for now anyway along with the inspiration I get from all these other long term quitters. I also understand how this addiction to nicotine can be a seductive SOB though so you gotta constantly be on your guard. Hope to see you around later on the board! (Especially in Chicks or Sticks - these chicks are killin' us lately  )

  9. Only 2 more Days????
  10. I know - it's a long ugly haul at times for the first little while but ever so gradually, it starts getting better - you begin to see that light at the end of the tunnel. Just remember; the crap you're feeling during the early days of your quit will not kill you. Going back to smoking most likely will. The choice is easy ;)

  14. Wasn't nauseated but was not feeling hungry at all. Ate less and less frequently the first couple of weeks at least. Everyone is different and their bodies react differently but no question, first while nothing is normal  I think really just this past week or even past few days things are starting to settle down for me more and more. Still think about smoking and get urges at times but much less frequently and much easier to push those aside now. Being a non-smoker is starting to get to be sort of normal for me now :)
