  1. I deleted my original message because there was too much information about myself.

Welcome Susie.   Many of us started smoking at an early age.  It is good that you realize that quitting smocking is something you need to do early on.  Feel free to reach out as needed.  We are here to help.

Welcome to QuitTrain, Russell.  Feel free to introduce yourself in the "Introductions and About Us" section.  Quitting smoking is a great thing to do and you'll find quite a bit of support and knowledge here that can help you quit for good.

  3. And just like that, 1 month goes by.

I'm proud of my quit, no nicotine patches, no urges at all, being healthy starts being fun.

It's like my brain just switched off the part that told me to smoke.

Hey AB.  Yeah, I remember you.  QSMB crashed back in February.  Nobody knows exactly what happened but it seemed that the site owners stopped caring about the site.  Its a real shame.  QuitTrain has been around since early 2014 and you'll see a lot of familiar faces and some new ones so make yourself at home.  There is even a NOPE page so go back to NOPEing.  It helps.  Its cool to see you here.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
