  4. Congratulations on 8 years smoke free @SD2026 Great job 👏 👍
  5. Congratulations on 13 years smoke free, @Doreensfree and thank you for all you do to help others with their quits. Celebrate big!
  6. Thank you all so much! I still can't believe I've made it this far! Even those who know me are surprised lol It's 100% thanks to everyone here and this forum, I know for sure I couldn't have made it this far without the support, the reading material, the videos and the daily NOPE! 😁 I'm at the stage where I hate cigarettes with a passion. Yes I've had a couple of silly thoughts during the early Summer of wanting one but I did what I used to do in the early days, pumped up the music and batted it away and just like that, POOF, the silly thoughts disappeared. 😁 Thanks All and I'm looking forward to reaching 1 year smoke free!
  7. I'm sorry to hear you've relapsed @Pilgrim however you're still here (and taking accountability). The stopping and starting must be quite frustrating. I know in the beginning I've wanted to have just one at times (as if it would just be one) but I was NOT giving up the fighting through it period only to have to go through it all again! If you think using patches or similar would help it's no harm trying. Let this be your final quit, you can do it! There's so much support here on this forum, check in every day, post when you feel you are going to cave in, anything, but smoke!
  8. I'm so pleased you've finished your treatment and I hope you can now take time for yourself to digest everything as it's a lot to take in! Wishing you all the best @Reciprocity 🙏🏻
  9. NOPE! 💫

  12. QG is so right We can give you all the advice and support But it’s you that has to put the work in You have to decide whether you want to smoke and vape ,or free yourself from poisoning Yourself Which cigarette is it that starts that cancer? Is it the one who bummed today ? Try the gum or the patch Vaping and smoking is on a course for disaster My Hubby died of Emphysema, fighting for every breath Trust me , you don’t want to be the same Make a plan and stick to it 🐸
  13. Gday Racking up those “frequent flyer points” you got to be happy
  14. NOPE Not One Puff Ever SNOTT Smoking's Not On The Table
  15. G’day NOPE .....Not One Puff Ever. Bee heaven
  16. Gday I happy for you that the treatment finished. Time to heal. Mentally as well. Seems like your feet hardly had time to touch the ground. So be kind to yourself…… And thanks for being so forthright. I personally found myself saying things out loud I should have said years ago.
  17. Pilgrim, you cannot buy or bum them from people you know! You have to stop that!!! I know it's not easy, we all do, but you have to make up your mind. No more buying/grubbing off of friends!! Every time you go back, you are gonna have to deal with the withdrawal.😬 We can all give you advice and support, but the quitting has to come from you. I know how it is in the early days of quitting, it's horrible, but once you get over the hurdles in the beginning, it gets easier. Have you tried the patch or the gum? Some people on here have used that and it helped them. When you get an urge, do something else besides smoking!! You can do this!!!
  18. Thanks for checking up on me.
  19. Not well @Doreensfree . I keep quitting (ok, today's the day!) only to find myself caving in and then buying another disposable vape or bumming another smoke from a colleague or friend... I'm having serious trouble letting it go.
  20. 8 months is AWESOME @SD2026!! So glad you found us... and found your forever quit too. We'll see you on the Lido Deck for your 1-year celebration really soon!
