Gday You are indeed the most cruel and heartless person….. In the southern clims were not fully out of winter yet and will not be seeing fruit like that for many months. That picture will haunt my mind now till I get to bbq some. Sigh….

This is not dinner but an after dinner dessert. This time of year where I live it's peach season and there's a ton of local peach farms all around this area. I'm not a particular fan of eating just a peach but one of my fav desserts is BBQ'ed peaches. Just cut the peach in half, pit it then sprinkle some cinniman powder on the open halves and throw them on the Barbie for8-10 mins; just long enough to soften them and get a few grill marks on 'em. Then serve them on a plate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with a lttile real maple syrup. The end result is truly a delectable delite Juices from the peach caramelized, melting ice cream and just a hint of the maple syrup. Yum-yum! The outer skin of the peach slides right off once the peach is cooked👌

I wonder if there is a medication that they give after the radiation is done? My mom had a very small cancerous nodule in her breast back in 2017, and after the doctor removed it, she put my mom on a pill for 5 years. My mom didn't need radiation, just the lumpectomy and the pill for 5 years, so maybe there is something that they will give you?

As @Cbdave and others have mentioned as well, I'm lucky to have had this caught in it's very early stages which gives me the best chance possible to beat it. A bunch of things more or less fell into place to allow that to happen ... it's wasn't good planning on my part other than I have been getting yearly CT Scans of my lungs ever since they were free of charge for me. I'm feeling pretty good about the chances of this particular cancerous nodule being fried by the radiation but will have to wait 3 months or so to be sure. That kind of pisses me off but that's the way it is so ... I think what my overall concern going forward is will I get more nodules appearing on my future CT Scans? Is it the kind of thing where once you have one, it's a signal that others may be on the way as well? Then again, maybe I'm just over thinking this. Hard not to I suppose 🤔
