Hello! Glad to be here!

I've only got my second day after more than a week of trying to quit. I sincerely hope to make this stick - so I'll mostly be reading content here and elsewhere.

Thank you for being here!

Hi Feely

I'm so glad you're here!  I've just signed up to this Board, as the QSMB isn't working.

Claire!! I was thinking about you this morning!!!

When was your final cigarette?  Did you start again more than twice last week?  Keep up the good work!

I had 4 days and blew it. Then I had 2 days and blew it. Yesterday would have been a week. I'm determined not to fall into one of those stupid endless loops of sliding. NOPE

Welcome to the Quit Train Feely :) Sounds like you're having some trouble getting past hell week. Glad you are determined to keep at it. Yes. read, read, read all you can about the addiction and Yes; it's all about the NOPE so keep pledging that each day. We will help you all we can but in the end. it's really up to you so stay close here and let us guide you along your journey :)

Welcome feely!

Glad you made it and found Claire too. So important for newbies who are going thru the same struggle to stick together.

One day at a time. Sometimes one minute at a time but you get through it. As a non smoker!

Hey Feely!!!  Glad you found this site and decided to join to help you in your quit.  Be strong during these early days...just let the nicotine work its way out of your system.  It only takes 3 days.  Then you are free of that beast.  I'm only at 9 days but I feel incredible since going cold turkey.  I can tell the nicotine is gone and just remind myself...any future desires to smoke are simply psychological, not physical.  The nicodemon is gone but tries to fool me that its back.  NOPE has been a helpful pledge for me every morning.  It's my first post of the day as soon as I wake up.  We got this Feely!  We're here with you!
