Most e-cigarette labels wrong about nicotine content "Researchers at North Dakota State University, Fargo, found that 51 percent of labels on e-cigarette liquid nicotine containers from 16 North Dakota storesdon’t accurately reflect the levels of nicotine found in the products. In one instance, actual nicotine levels were 172 percent higher than labeled. The majority of e-cigarette liquid containers also did not provide child-resistant packaging. The study examined products purchased from North Dakota retail stores selling e-cigarettes, but not required to have a tobacco retail license.The research team noted that 23 e-liquid containers claimed to have no nicotine, but 43 percent did, in fact, contain nicotine."
July 25, 201610 yr So glad that they will soon be regulated by the FDA here in the USA. I would prefer that they be illegal, but I guess that is not happening!
July 26, 201610 yr E cigs are just another way to make money off the addicted. But who am I to judge. I tried them to. PS .... Cold Turkey and NOPE was my antidote to nicotine. It's still working to this day.
July 26, 201610 yr Same old poison, new delivery system. Once the e-cig market began to grow, the tobacco companies diversified into the new market. The same tobacco company executives who found ways to make cigarettes increasingly addictive over time, are now feverishly working on creating a new generation of nicotine slaves with the faux "safer alternative." Tobacco company executives are a loathsome lot, but they have honed their craft of peddling addiction and death. Don't feed the beast.
