68 Days

Featured Replies

68 days today.

Seems to have been hard going since a came off the patches 2 weeks ago, not exactly cravings but keep thinking it would be nice to have a smoke. Boiled sweets are my friend at moment. Have a sweet instead of a cancer stick.

Went away for the weekend last week, made a nice change not to have to stand outside of hotel smoking.Ā  Sat outside of the pub in the sun and the amount of smokers and people vaping I could really smell it. Loads of different smells from the vapes

Congratulations Jane … Great QuitĀ

Well done winning that battle , sitting with smokers and staying positive , this shows your strength and looking after your quitĀ

Keep Going your doing great 🐸

What struck me about your post was ... you're appreciating positive things about being a non-smoker. For you it was not having to goĀ  outside the hotel to smoke. For me it was that as well as not having to rush outside when my plane landed just to poison myself again! Also your statement about noticing the smokers/vapers & the smells while outside the pub reminded me of the first time I actually felt sorry for smokers & was truly glad I was no longer smoking was about 7 months into my quit when the wife & i went to Vegas for a few days. Of course smoking was everywhere but when I was in the pool on day and noticed the amount of people smoking in the pool ... I was just shaking my head in disbelief. That really brought home to me the crazy things an addict will do just to get their fix! I vowed that day it would never be me again; not ever!!

Ā

Anyway; congrates on your 68 Days @JaneĀ and keep up the great work! Stay focused on all those positives you're noticing and remember; smoking never did one good thing for us ... NOT ONE THING!

Congrats Jane on quitting, your life has changed for the better. You will have many positives changes now that will continue to enhance your life. You will now have new first changes going on all which are positive. I used Tic Tacks to edge off the cravings and they did great. Ā Keep in mind that each day you don’t smoke is your victory Ā against the addiction you have given up. Keep the days going into weeks, months, and in to your longer life you have given yourself.
