What a difference a day makes! :-)

Featured Replies

Today has been an easy-peasy day. Amazingly so.

I had a sugar-free nicotine-free chewing gum or two this morning, and that was it. I didn´t fancy a Spanish nicorette, and I just stopped chewing and moved on with my life. I was busy.

My friend sent me a horrible video in FB. The one about the tar in 400 cigs... I´ll post it separately. That put me off smoking again big time. And happy with my 20-day quit. Yeepee!

So I´ve been to two meetings with smokers, one outside and another in their office. I entered their office and it hit me (yuck, these people smoke in here... and probably think that they can get away with it?).

All I could think of is how happy I am with my 20 days´ quit.

It is even better today because the last two or three days were just evil. Today was beautiful.

I can do this!

Thank you for being there for me! I thought I would share the bliss. And the knowledge that days DO GET BETTER!

:-)

Aww Susana so pleased today was good for you, it makes it so much better when you smell a smoker and think puewwwww I used to smell like that but guess what I don't any more, the actual smell of nicotine in the early days used to make me gag and crave both at the same time, weird eh , but I can sit with smokers now and it doesn't bother me, 20 days is absolutely awesome you are doing great, believe me when I say it just gets better and better, this non smoking life sure does rock xx

I hope there won't be no more hard days for you. Keep up the good quit and stay free!

I hate top say I told you so!!!  haha.  Brilliant news sweetie, so pleased you had a great day and saw a vid to reinforce your quit.  Smokers really smell pretty bad don't they!!   Pleased it's not us anymore :) x

Susana, good for you! Some days can be very dark for me and the next day, poof, it is a great day.......of course you can stay awake from the cigs. You write with such inner strength and wisdom so I know you have it in you

You and your daughter are such generous guys

So glad you had a good day!

We all need those to keep us going :)

Bring on the good days!

Susana, I'm so happy you had a good day. :) Soon, you will have more better days than bad! I promise you, things get better (as you've sort of witnessed already!) The feeling of freedom is a beautiful thing.
